TotalMix FX 2.01 / 1.991 - Windows Installer

Notes on version 2.x

General
--------

V 2.0 changes from bitmap-based to a modern graphics engine (the same graphics engine as DigiCheck NG*), thus is now freely scalable from small to full screen, and even zooming into channels is possible. Plus it comes with a new, modern look.

*For this reason the same restrictions apply:

- TM FX 2.x will not run under Windows 7, it requires Windows 10 or higher.

- TM FX 2.x uses Direct3D 12, which was not available before Windows 10, and is not supported by old Intel CPU graphics generations, or similarly old other graphics cards.

- For Mac: TotalMix FX 2.0 uses Metal hardware-accelerated graphic routines, therefore usually requires macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) or up.

Installation
-------------

Follow the instructions of the RME TotalMix FX Install Wizard. This tool installs version 2.0 or 1.991. A restart is not required.

- Preferences, Snapshots and Workspaces: Added options Load Room EQs with Snapshot, Load Groups with Snapshot, Load Record/Play with Snapshot, Load old Workspaces in old Design

--- 'Load Groups with Snapshot', aka Fader, Mute and Solo groups. This option allows a more flexible control as the groups are no longer bound to Workspaces alone.

--- 'Load Record/Play with Snapshot' allows a more flexible control as Record/Play settings are no longer bound to Workspaces alone.

- Preferences, Device Handling: new Option Reduce volume Peaks on Snapshot load

---- 'Reduce volume peaks on Snapshot load' improves handling of extreme gain/volume changes between Snapshots, preventing short loud noise bursts.

- Channel Layout Color tints the whole channel, not only the name

- Hotkey R resets the peak markers of all level meters

- The option Load Room EQs with Snapshot also loads Volume Calibration and Delay settings

- The name of the last loaded Room EQ Preset is now shown in the Room EQ window (works only for saved Presets aka Recall list, 1 to 16). The name starts flashing as soon as any parameter is changed.

- Window sizes are correctly adapted when changing between monitors with different DPI settings

- Nearly all dialogs will now be opened in the middle or above/below the respective element, reducing mouse travel

- On loss of communication with the graphics card (dialog error 207) TM FX now automatically stores the current state and reboots

- Added support for DirectOut’s USB.MADI SFP module

- Mac only: Added support for Copy & Paste in dialogs
